With Special Finance becoming the huge buzz in the automotive industry and the large manufacturers getting into the game, its only a matter of time before special finance leads are co-opted by manufacturers and dealers from small mom and pop shops, all the way to the multi-franchised super-centers are going to be looking for leads. The issue I have found is that quite a few of these dealers are told the benefits of special finance leads without being warned of the need to approach these leads in a different way than leads gotten through traditional advertising.
The key is partnering with CRM's and Professional BDC's to ensure that a large percentage of your leads are "closing."
